These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ASCII Art to SVG Converter ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
By accessing, browsing, or using the Service in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Service following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Access to the Service is restricted to authorized users with email addresses belonging to approved domains. Unauthorized access or attempts to circumvent access controls are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to revoke access to any user at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability.
The Service provides tools to convert ASCII art text diagrams into vector graphic formats including SVG and DXF. The Service is provided as a convenience tool and is not intended to serve as a professional drafting, engineering, or legal document preparation service.
Your Content: You retain all rights, title, and interest in any ASCII art diagrams, text, or other content that you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that you have the right to do so and that the content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
Output Files: The SVG, DXF, and other output files generated by the Service from your User Content are derivative works of your User Content. You retain all rights to these output files. We claim no ownership or license rights over your User Content or any output generated from it.
The Service: All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its software, algorithms, user interface, and documentation, are and shall remain the exclusive property of the Service operator. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service itself beyond the limited right to use it as described herein.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
You acknowledge and agree that your use of the Service and any output generated thereby is entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and suitability of all output files before use in any context.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE SERVICE OPERATOR, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not the Service operator has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall the Service operator's total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service exceed the amount you have paid to the Service operator in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100.00), whichever is less.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Service operator, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
The Service does not provide legal, engineering, or professional advice of any kind. Output generated by the Service should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional judgment. You should consult qualified professionals (including patent attorneys, engineers, and technical drafters) before using any output from the Service in professional, legal, or regulatory contexts.
While the Service aims to produce output that follows general formatting guidelines commonly associated with USPTO patent drawing requirements, we make no representation or guarantee that any output will comply with current or future USPTO rules, regulations, guidelines, or standards. Patent drawing requirements are subject to change and may vary based on the type of application, the examining art unit, and other factors. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any drawings submitted to the USPTO or any other regulatory body meet all applicable requirements.
The Service generates output files intended for use with third-party software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Visio and AutoCAD. We make no guarantee of compatibility with any version (past, present, or future) of any third-party software. Third-party software vendors may change their file format support, rendering behavior, or import capabilities at any time without notice. Any references to third-party products are for identification purposes only and do not constitute endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.
The Service provides API endpoints that may be accessed programmatically. API users agree to:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you. We do not guarantee any specific level of availability, uptime, or performance.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Service operator regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.
